Oh what a wonderful, wonderful day this was! Thank you, God, for letting it unfold as planned… It’s for the sole purpose of making our parents happy anyway. Isn’t life’s design so beautiful? When you’re young, little and helpless, your parents try their hardest to give you the best, show you the world, and share everything that life has to offer. Then at one point in this process of getting older, there is some kind of role reversal —- and once you’re independent and able, you develop this hunger to try your hardest to give them the best, show them the world that you have discovered beyond theirs, and share with them everything that life has to offer. Then you realize how hard they have actually worked to give you what they did, but also how fulfilling it actually feels in your heart. Suddenly, you grasp it… And it makes you even more grateful. It makes you yearn to do even more. And wish that you have more time.
